Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Lykosys, Inc. (“Lykosys”, “we”, “us”) collects through lykosys.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our dealings with companies we invest in or work with are governed by separate agreements with them.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write in the message. If you send us a business proposal, we use it only to evaluate it and respond, and we keep it with our business records. Please see our Terms of Use on unsolicited submissions.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, the servers that host this site record basic request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
  • Usage statistics. We use Koko Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that runs on our own website server. It counts page views and referring sites so we can see which pages are useful. It does not send data to third parties, does not store IP addresses, and does not build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of first-party cookies:

  • Analytics. Koko Analytics sets a cookie that records which pages of this site your browser has already viewed, so that a returning visitor is not counted twice. It contains no personal information and is not shared with anyone.
  • Site operation. Cookies are used where needed to run the site, for example to keep an administrator signed in.

We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add other tools that use cookies, such as marketing or chat tools, we will update this policy before they go live and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track visitors across other sites or use advertising cookies, our site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

How we use information

  • To reply to your inquiries and arrange conversations you ask for.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as needed for those services. This site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and we use an email provider to send and receive mail. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Where information is stored

Information is stored in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email info@lykosys.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is intended for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Links to other sites

This site links to our pages on social networks. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
